TOILET BOMB If there’s one thing we all dread, it’s cleaning toilets. But have no fear, this fizzing bomb will leave your toilets smelling fresh and looking sparkly. Tea Tree (Melaleuca) essential oil has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties which fight bacteria, making it one of the best oils to use in household cleaners. Supplies: Silicone Mould 1 cup Baking Soda ¼ cup Citric Acid ¼-1 tablespoon Liquid Castile Soap (we prefer unscented) 5 drops Tea Tree 10 drops Lemon *You can also use 15 drops of Cleansing Blend if you have. Feel free to add in Peppermint or Spearmint essential oil for a hint of minty freshness. Directions: In a bowl, combine baking soda & citric acid Slowly add ¼ tbsp of liquid castile soap and essential oils to the dry ingredients, stirring as you go. The mixture should resemble the consistency of wet sand. Continue to add ¼ tbsp increments of castile soap if you find the mixture is too dry. Next, tightly pack the mixture into your silicone mould. Let it sit overnight until dry and hard. Remove the pods from the mould and store them an airtight container. To use, drop one pod into your toilet bowl and watch as it comes to life. Once it has begun to dissolve, use a toilet brush and give it a quick swish. It’s so easy & smells great!
